Another insight into 1998 ‘me’…based on title…
When you talk

I beg to differ

My opinions I will litter

My decisions will not be frittered

To be placed upon your litter

of ‘would have done’

‘could have said’

When I speak

Earmuffs you prefer

To my lips

You are indifferent

Lip reading never your asset

When you talk

I’m forced to listen

To consider an opinion

You antagonise my thinking

You have ready my decision

Which is given

Though I be driven

To collide with your opinion

1998 ‘me’ had too many differences of opinion with ‘friends’…(I think I wrote most of my poems in 1998…so it seems so far…)
