Found at ‘dad’ poem…not dated…(don’t think…I wrote this for my dad…cos words are not enough…(my pop is too awesome…words fail me…my heart just thumps cos I love dad soooo much and he is a rock) …maybe one day, I’ll write him a poem…but for now, I am delighted to keep being a daddy’s girl!)

We may not say very much

But we are so proud of you, Dad

And we treasure everyday

Because we know how much you care

Even when you are not near

But working hard to make

Each day a special place

In the memories we’ll keep

Of these tender childhood years

My younger ‘self’ did not date this poem…so have no idea exactly when it was written…some time between 1999 and 2001…I guess.
